Nelsha Nanji, ACCA, CPA, CGA

Nelsha Nanji is originally from Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania, the east coast of Africa. She studied in Malaysia and London, England and obtained her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) designation. Later did her conversion to Certified General Accountants (CGA) in Canada.
“ I chose to study accounting because it will give me a chance to step into the economic world and an opportunity to benefit from the high demand that there currently is for accounting graduates in the jobs market. On top of this, accountancy is something that has struck a chord with me, as I have always liked numbers and mathematics.”
Nelsha has been with the firm over 2 years. She has obtained experience of working with a wide range of clients in various sectors and in a variety of environments makes her comfortable with diverse people and situations thus making her approachable, people-focused, highly motivated and with a steadfast commitment to handle all interactions with a high level of personal integrity and strong work ethic.
She offers a background in external audit assurance services as well as corporate tax planning in terms of reorganization and estate planning and also special audits. She also offers expertise in internal control advisory, performance management and due diligence services often required by clients on acquisition processes. She has been supervising audit staff, scheduling jobs and sections for individual audits, and preparing and reviewing small corporate client files.
Outside of the office, Nelsha is passionate about her friends and family as well as community service. Nelsha serves as a volunteer in her community.
