Riz Visram is a native Calgarian and has been with the firm for over 14 years. During his career as a CMA, Riz has seen the Calgary business community change in response to both the economy and regulatory developments that affect how companies approach their accounting and financial initiatives.
“I began my career at MMT as a student working on my designation in 2000. Because MMT works with both small and medium size companies, the work experience I received was rich and diverse. Away from the office, Riz is a busy father of three and also enjoys the spring and summer months playing golf. “As a family, we believe that our best childhood memories came from family vacations and weekend trips. We’ve travelled with our children to Hawaii as well as California. Whenever we can, we love to explore Banff and the beauty that both Alberta and B.C. offer. Aside from time with my family, I recently took up golf. I find each course I play challenging and enjoyable and look forward to the upcoming season!”
